Yeah, because it's a message board filled with random people, many of whom are trolls or have no clue what they're talking about. The link is an article by someone actually associated with ULL claiming to be a journalist. There's quite a difference.

Well you definitely don't see anybody here writing biased opinion blogs on the internet when LSU whips ULL. It's just another win, it's expected. But as soon as ULL wins, LSU is in the decline, ULL owns the state, and all this bullshite. My point is act like you've been there and maybe you'll get some respect. No one outside of your fans recognize you as UL

2) Like others say, you won 1/2 game during the 2nd week of the season and Nathan sees it as if UL swept Omaha.
UL beat us in a called game due to weather. That's it. They aren't "state champs" they aren't "better than LSU". They simply won an early game. I'll give respect to the UL team for winning, but the constant bitching from UL fans is borderline creepy and stalker-ish.

I wasn't implying he worked for ULL or anything, sorry. But that's beyond the point. I was just pointing out that he's clearly butthurt, which, from a "journalist", is a tad bit less excusable than from some random, anonymous idiot on a message board.

I would have to ask this guy "Where's the respect for LSU?". My main problem with many Cajun fans I know do the following: Pull for any team that plays LSU, (this would include Al Queda if they had a team). They never, and I mean NEVER, acknowledge the accomplishments of LSU no matter what the sport. All they do is continually blame politics for LSU's dominance in Louisiana athletics and this objection to being called "UL". I literally had 3 UL-L fans waiting for me this morning when I got to work. Really, all I can do is laugh at the arse clowns.

LSU fans don't talk shite about beating ULL. Because it's not a big deal, especially this early in the season. ULL has a small parade any time they beat LSU, which isn't all that common. LSU simply says "good game" when they beat ULL. There's no trying to rub their faces in it.
I guess it boils down to the simple fact that ULL fans have a serious inferiority complex about LSU, and LSU doesn't care.
It's just a shame because every Louisiana team should root for other Louisiana teams as long as they aren't playing each other. ULL fans actively route against LSU no matter who plays them. It's sad and pathetic.
