I know all the facts, actually. I’ve read the reports from Notre Dame and IOSHA. I’m trying to help you, but you won’t accept it. Sad.

Ignorance is a choice. Google is free. I feel bad for you, maddy

You’re twisted and dishonest you don’t know which way is up. The only thing you’ve proven is that you don’t actually believe anything you say.

I just told you I’ve read both reports and can help you with the findings. You’re mad about that for some reason. I’m here to help you.

Don’t need any help, thanks anyways.

Probably a mix of factors.
- He climbed the ladder relatively quickly from GVSU to ND (3 years at Central Michigan, 4 years at Cincinnati), leaving some jilted fanbases in his wake (especially Cincy).
- Similarly to his Cincinnati exit, he left ND while they still had a chance to appear in the playoff.
- Especially earlier in his career at ND, he had a particularly angry, purple-faced countenance on the sidelines, that has tapered somewhat over the years.
- He was partially blamed (rightly or wrongly) for the death of an ND student videographer who died in a scissor lift accident in high winds.
- He has a dry and sometimes clumsy sense of humor in his press conferences (see: the execution comment after his 2021 Cincinnati loss, various LSU press conferences).
Excluding the scissor lift incident, I think that Saban would have a similar reputation if he wasn’t a perennial title winner at Alabama. If Kelly had won even one title at ND, I think that he’d get a lot more respect around the country.

Nick was the best coach ever. Brian Kelly is a damn good coach
One of those is backed by facts.
The other is an opinion.

So unless everybody shares your opinion, they're all morons? Get a life, Francis.

Listening to him speak.
Look, I think he's a very good coach....not sure if that will translate here, but I do believe that it still might, I think he's righted a lot of the early missteps he made it adjusting to coaching here and I think we'll see that going forward, I really do.
But likability - at least from our prospective as fans looking in from outside....he just comes across as not very likable. Having said that I'd rate likability as about 10th in the things I want in a football coach.

And you were given an answer. This was a big story, there’s plenty on it yet you’re here playing spin doctor and being dishonest in your little bubble because of course facts don’t interest you at all.
Meh you outright lied but okay.

No that’s your practice not mine.

Sent a kid up 30 + feet in a hydraulic lift in 60 mph wind to video practice
Lie #1.
Besides the incorrect statements that are semantic in nature, there is no evidence that Kelly had any involvement in video crew assignments.
Furthermore, the student video crew did not report to Kelly, but to the AD. Thus the "chain of responsibility" was the video coordinator, various middle management, the AD, and ultimately, the president of the university.
quote:
even though he’d been advised to have practice indoors due to the weather
Lie #2
There is no evidence that this happened. Kelly made the decision to practice outdoors roughly 6 hours prior to the incident.
quote:
then didn’t even stop practice when the kid fell to his death.
This part is true. Kelly immediately went to the scene of the incident but instructed his assistant coaches to continue practice to keep the players from crowding the area and slowing down any medical response.

As usual you’re lying

If anyone is interested in the facts, they can read the reports for themselves.
It appears that several posters here already have and have called you out for your usual BS.
