Was CEH performance Saturday a top 5 single game performance for a LSU RB? I know other LSU RBs have put up better rushing numbers in a single game but I don’t know if I seen a better overall performance for an LSU RB.

It was the best performance by a running back in LSU football history considering the circumstances.

Throw out the stats.

The implications of the win and clutch moments when his number was called throws that performance into the #1 consideration. It was like the ‘07 Hester 4th down plays.

Last gutsy performance like that I can remember was Kevin Faulk vs Notre Dame in 1998 where he almost willed the Tigers to victory including a 88yd kick off return for a TD.

There may have been more athletic performances by a running back in LSU history but this performance and the one by Jacob Hester against Florida in 2007 are unmatched as far as the heart, will and guts shown.
