I love these BS posts ... so many silly twats post here ... it's such an easy solution ... look up the Power Rankings

We'll do better than that ... ALL SEC TEAMS

College Football 2008 Starting Rankings

1 Southern California A = 95.34

USC is listed as reference for # 1 team in USA

2 LSU A = 92.51
5 Florida A = 89.50
9 Georgia A = 87.51
10 Auburn A = 86.51
13 Tennessee A = 83.48
26 Arkansas A = 81.04
31 Alabama A = 79.64
32 South Carolina A = 79.44
46 Kentucky A = 75.84
62 Vanderbilt A = 71.54
67 Mississippi State A = 70.18
70 Appalachian St AA = 69.22
71 Mississippi A = 69.13
72 Troy A = 68.57
130 Tulane A = 56.81
152 North Texas A = 51.97

This pretty much answers those "crack-head" questions

Why are they the only D-1AA school on this list and how the hell do they even make this list they're 1-AA, playing only one 1-A opponent a year?????

Get off your ROTFLYAO azz and go check the SAGARIN computer rankings

We're assuming an ignorant, inbred mongrel redneck can find these on the internet.

Sagarin ranks Div 1 & Div 2 together

Now that you've been schooled

So, the question posed was where do we think Appy St would finish. I'm glad you answered it without a doubt for us.

Since LSU is the top ranked SEC team I guess there is also no doubt we win the SEC right?

Thanks for the heads up, so I don't have to watch any games this year.

They would be 5th this year because Arkie will be just that bad.

Those two phrases together are ironic.

Why do so many people equate AA with Division 2?

At one point mid season a couple of years back, Sagarin had all of the Pac-10 in the top 12 or so.

But yeah, I can see why you look to them for a definitive answer.

I enjoy the sarcasm ... disagree about Arkansas

And ... the gambling lines are based on power rankings ... it's the only way to compare apples & oranges (Div 1 & Div 2) ... Sagarin gives them a lot of credit, by the way at 69 along with Ole Miss (this year's bottom dweller) and Troy, LSU's week 2 opponent.

Not really Sagarin, and only the opening line at far as it goes. After that, the lines are determined by bets.

Div 1 ... Div 2 ... number of a's ... there are about 250 college teams that play ball ..

Here ... this will help you grasp the concept

Think of it this way they won the Div 1AA NC, and extraordinary year, and they still lost 2 of their games in conference.

I seem to remember LSU limping into the BCS title game with two losses of their own last year.

How soon we forget.

When LSU can win a 16 team playoff (hell, even an 8 team) instead of having a computer coronation to a "title game" that means nothing in terms of record - then we'll talk.

If ASU was in the SEC west, we'd have 22 more scholarships than we do now. With that, we would certainly have better chances, and likely do well in time.

22 schollies more ...

And ... IFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF ... your aunt had a penis, she'd be your uncle, based on that reasoning ... The Boone Batwanger.

WHEN BOTH OF YOUR UNIVERSITY'S TESTICLES DESCEND ... AND YOU ARE SEEN STEPPING INTO THE RANKS OF 1-A FOOTBALL ... THEN WE'LL TALK
