Please, I pray that the students show up and make their presense known.
I cannot say enough how totally lame the student section was at Bama this past Sunday. Could NOT have been more than 50 or so Frat-niks who were actually jumping and cheering for their SEC opener. I feel sure that the LSU students can do better.
Even my 12-year old said that the UAB students put that bama-bunch to shame!!

If they play like they did against Utah it'd be better to show up for half tiem to see the real entertainment in QUICKCHANGE and then leave.
We as LSU fans might as well face it, LSU will never be a basketball school. It'll just be a bridge between football and baseball.

I will be making my first basketball game of the season tonight and will be bringing my 7 year-old. As I have gotten older and had kids, the 2.5 - 3 hour round trip has gotten tougher but I try to catch at least one game a year plus any games they might have in New Orleans.
The "Quick Change" thing is a bonus. I saw them once before (Hornets?) and was amazed.

The first time I saw them it caught me off guard. I caught the middle part of it and it was just one of those "what the hell just happened type things" but the second time it was entertaining as hell.

I'll be watching American Idol. Who gives a shite about basketball. This is a football school only. For all I care, they could cancel it and make more of an investment in football promotions and facilities.
