Its also tough to call something 100% fact when your proof is "well go ask anyone on the staff like I did...trust me I did!"

I am grateful for the 2019 Natty. But the degree of credit O deserves for the result is certainly debatable. He was HC, so he presumptively gets a lot of credit. In my view, he mostly should be credited for staying out of the way of Brady, Ensminger and Burrow on offense and Aranda on D.
Having said that, i have no respect for how he got the job and hardware he left in the backs of others on the coaching staff in order to climb over their bodies.
And I have no respect for how he quit on the program right after we won the Natty. Forget the blondes, he quit on an entire program while earning 7.5 million per year and left the roster a mess. He got his 17 million, and i hope he enjoys it. Just stay away from the program.

Coach O has accomplished more in the coaching profession than probably anyone presently on the LSU Staff.
Miami, Southern Cal and a perfect, best team ever, season at LSU.

The way he was slammed by local media pundits and many so called fans likely turned him off for a long time, or from ever coming back and being a guest on their shows. And I don’t blame him a bit, he took his $$$ and said yaw baws can kiss my down da bayou arse.
He assembled the best team that ever walked on a field in CFB, won a natty, Heisman QB, Biletnikoff, Joe Moore, Jim Thorpe…..then Covid wrenched up his next year bad, and sure he maybe could have done things differently in hindsight.
But dammit, give his bayou native La son arse some credit for what he did that surpasses all other teams in the history of CFB.
He assembled the best team that ever walked on a field in CFB, won a natty, Heisman QB, Biletnikoff, Joe Moore, Jim Thorpe…..then Covid wrenched up his next year bad, and sure he maybe could have done things differently in hindsight.
But dammit, give his bayou native La son arse some credit for what he did that surpasses all other teams in the history of CFB.

If you want to give full credit to Ed for 2019, he must take full blame for what occurred before and after.
If you do so, you can crow that nobody on this staff has as big an accomplishment as his NATTY in 2019, but none have presided over disasters as big as 2020, 2021 (when he abandoned the program and left it to run on inertia) and his disasters at Ole Miss.

ok, let's pretend for a moment, that 2019 was completely totally 100% all O's doing.
then I have a question for you.
why does the vast majority of his career as a full-time head coach look like a complete polar opposite of that year?
I don't mean why doesn't it reach that height.
I mean why does the vast majority of it look like a complete clusterfrick of a train wreck?

2007
2017 (up until Joe Alleva publicly stated that he started sitting in on meetings to make sure O was letting coordinators do their jobs)
2020
2021
why do those seasons that span 2 different schools, at least 3 different ADs, several different sets of coordinators, etc. all have more similarities to each other than they do 2019?
Literally the ONLY common denominator across all 6 of those seasons is Ed Orgeron.

I live in Ft Lauderdale.
I spotted Coach o at sidelines of Tulane FAU in NOvemeber. I think he lives in a high rise in Miami Beach.

just like nobody hated Les Miles because he was from Ohio.
they hated him because the program became stagnant and he was holding it back.
they hate O because he turned the program into an absolute shitshow with less than half of a complete roster by the time he was done.
his results got him the hate, not his hometown.
