Did you forget who LSU played in their BCS games?.................

tOSU
Illinois
ND
Oklahoma

Two Big 10 teams and ND. You could argue USCw had tougher competition

Ohio State obviously just sucks so theyre an easy choice for last among those six teams

After this, it starts getting tricky. In my opinion BCS titles talk more than anything else so:

1) Florida
2) LSU
3) Texas
4) USC
5) Oklahoma
6) Ohio State

I could go with this. Although, I wouldn't really argue with anyone who wanted to change 3,4 & 5 around.

I agree. BUT they take Texas down with them. How can UT be considered the team of the decade when OU is the Big 12 team of the decade easily based on conference championships. Doesn't UT only have one Big 12 championship (not counting this year)?

LSU / USC (split )

UF Meyer adapts to the talent, best college coach.
UT Consistently good.
LSU (tie) 2008's melt-down really hurt.
USC (tie) Good record, but then again it's PAC10.
OU Big the 1st 5 years, since then?
tOSU Big game melt-downs outside of B10.

YOU cannot penalize USC for playing the big ten. Look at the big 10's recored against the SEC.

I still don't understand why so many have UT ahead of OU. OU is the Big 12 team of the decade with 6 Big 12 championships. UT has 1 (probably 2 after this year). I understand OU has been bad in their bowl games but they've clearly been the better team in the conference. UT has consistently been #2 in their division, yet everyone ranks them higher. Please explain.

2010 is the last year of the decade, but up to now, Texas has been more consistent than any other team.

If Fla. wins the NC, they are the best despite early part of decade. If Texas wins out, then they have it hands down, with no bad year since 2001. (The first year of the decade)
LSU would have to win it all next year to be at the top.

No it is not.

This is so stupid. Would you not include 1970 as part of the 70s? There is no need for definitions as it is common sense and how history is remembered.

Honestly, I want to put LSU ahead of USC. USC's BCS bowl wins, outside of the NCG are a joke. They have played the runner-up in the Big 10 a few times, which is an absolute joke.

LSU / USC (split ) now that is funny right there. Just because of the '03 thingy.
But very well might be true.

If Florida wins it all again you have to give them the nod.
