The Northshore is a horrible place to live, if I was everyone I would stay away.

Oh yeah you're right. St. Bernard is a much better place. Let's start a fund to re-populate St. Bernard

If the Northshore sucks then why does Coach Peyton, Ed Orgeron, David Patten, the Wizard (just to name a few) all live here?

Covington =
Slidell =
Mandeville =

It's more like a town, but it's a great place to live. Western St Tammany is one of the best, if not the best place, to live in Louisiana.

Mandeville is a high roller town, its where a lot of rich people live. I have several friends that live over there. Covington/Slidell/Mandeville, all good towns. This is why you have 2 HS over there, they have the rich side and the poor side but for the most part, Mandeville is a pretty rich city. Its not too far from Ponchatoula here, and BR isn't that far away from Mandeville. It is on the Northshore, in case you didn't know that but I'm sure you did.

Two HS? Rich side, poor side? In Covington and Mandeville, there are four high schools that I know of...Covington, St. Paul's, Mandeville, and Fountainbleau. They are all 5A schools I believe. As for the rich side, poor side I'm not sure. I agree that there is an area near downtown Covington that one could refer to as "poor", but throughout Western St. Tammany Parish there are several areas where many of the original residents of the area live that don't really fit either classification "rich" or "poor". I live in Madisonville, and it's a good example of that. There are $500,000 homes within a hundred yards of trailers and/or unkept older homes.
