re: Where Do You Think TCU's D Ranks among Other D's We'll Face?

Really? Honestly, I respect what they have done. They took enormous steps to move into a competitive league. It's hard to get in a bcs conference, and they jumped up to big east then the big 12. They have my respect.

The fact is if Fields plays, the whole complexion of the game changes and the TCU defense would look stronger in consequence.
And if Hill plays the LSU offense would look stronger in consequence.
See how that works both ways?
LSU won by two scores which I said they would. LSU surprised me because they easily should have won by much more.
Perhaps TCU D is overrated? I'll be interested how many of the powerful Big 12 offenses will put up around 500yds on TCU. My guess is not many.

Hill broke a law. Fields broke a school rule. Totally different situations.
Not even gonna respond about our defense being overrated because that is a bullshite assumption and you have zero evidence to back it up. We have been consistent for the last several years. Nobody is saying we have the #1 defense in the country.

Agree with #2 TCU behind Bama

the hardest thing for me to find the game was TCU secondary doing something illegal

TCU is garbage. Let's get real here. The Vols would dismantle them.

So the LSU game was not regular season?

TCU's D has ranked in the upper echelon over the past few years, and #1 at one time...so we played very well against a very good D.Bama probably has a better D but I think we are going to put a hurt on UF.

Probably one of the top 10 defenses we face

Some of us are being real...we know that TCU has had some very good D's in past seasons...for the Tigers to put 37 points on them that's saying alot.

I'm suggesting it's more like one of the top-3/4 D's we'll face all year. I think Bama/UF will likely prove better and perhaps USCe (and we know what that means).

TCU is struggling a bit against SELA

You guys are giving TCU too much credit. They were a 7-6 team last year in a very mediocre conference. I feel like they're still living on their BCS buster years where they walked through pathetic competition. They're probably an 8-4 team this year. Good but not conference champion material.
