What? At least we kept our beast recruiting class. You dont know what coach we wouldve gotten and i know this may cone as surprise to some of you but there are far worse coaches than les miles. It's incredibly rare to hire 3 successful coaches in a row.

Perrilloux really hurt the direction of the offense

I'm not sure if people really understand how badly this hurt the offensive structure of LSU in 2008 and beyond. It changed Les Miles' coaching philosophy. He had been bringing Perrilloux along and if he had not f-d up, we would be talking about LSU's golden era and possible dynasty.

"They did not play better than us, we played worse than them." Same thing. Coach Mac nailed it, LSU got what they deserved.

(Last 25 years in football: UF 8 SEC champs and 3 national champs. LSU 4 SEC champs and 2 national champs. Comparable, but Florida is clearly better in football. All the other sports? Please.)

Everything goes in cycles. That includes college football programs. Even Alabama's had a couple of down years. We'll be back and we're really not that far away as it is.

LSU doesn't own that talent it needs a coach who can get it and sustain it !

a new coach at this point in time .. may kill it all.
There is no guarantee that a HIGH MONEY-LONG TERM CONTRACT coach will help.

A gamble either way, i would just go with a one-year, low cost gamble.

Time will tell.

doesn't it get old carrying Miles sack around on your chin. Les Miles by definition is the luckiest dumbass in the history of football. Look it up, true

EASILY be 9-1 right now. We ARE NOT AS BAD OFF AS EVERYONE IS SCREAMING!!!!

But we aren't. Good teams find ways to win while average teams run down by les miles find ways to lose

Joe Alleva was the down fall. He is the worst AD in the SEC by a wide margin. He is ineffectual in everything he attempts to do.

Who else was available when Les was hired? I don't remember back that far.
