I played him in High School as well...we couldn't tackle him. Seen our free safety get as low as he could when Scott broke one, I said "Oh he's got him he is low enough to take the legs out" nope Scott trucked right through him! I remember the game he got injuried...hit the ground and reached at his shoulder I yelled out to my family that he broke his collar bone. Seems like that injury just messed with him way more than it should've.

It’s almost criminal he didn’t get more touches in 2nd half of 2007 UK game.

I was at that UGA 2009 game. Everyone screaming L S U! L S U! leaving the game on the ramps was awesome.

It seems like just yesterday Charles Scott ran all over Kentucky in the 1st half then Les didn't give him carries in the 2nd half and LSU lost.

It also just seems like yesterday that after Charles Scott started the year off on fire in 2008 the Rant got a Charles Scott for Heisman campaign going and it got some momentum until LSU went to Florida and lost by 30 and Charles Scott had like 9 yards.

I hope he succeeds and advances up the coaching ladder. He gave his all on the field. He came back for his senior year when he probably could have skilped it. I always enjoyed watching him run with that intensity. I'm sorry he didn't make it in the pros.
He'll probably do well was a coach. Probably learned some important lessons in his twenties. Kids will probably respond well to him.
Good luck Charles.

I knew him personally. It's been a few years since we talked. The girl wanted a payday, but she acted too soon, and destroyed any chance he had of making it in the NFL. Scott is a very good young man, as hard of a worker as I've ever met, and deserves what ever successes he achieves. Scott has, without a doubt, learned a few hard and painful lessons. Good luck Chuck!

He had 95 yards on five carries in the first half, no touches in the second half. This, along with Tennessee 2005 and Auburn 2006, started my early doubts about Miles as a HC.
