These types don't know how the game has changed and how much more balanced college baseball is and that team dominance can happen from time to time in sports but more often it doesn't last. They discount scholarship and roster lol limitations and use the word 'Choke' when the choking they do is on their chicken wings and beer while simultaneously running their mouths! If this choked last year, then everyone who played Coastal Carolina did. They were damn good and they proved it! The Louisville's, Florida, Florida States and others must have also choked. Many are in love with an excellent coach like Mike Bianco, but he has had some great teams and has only made it Omaha once! Is Kevin O'Sullivan a choke artist? Is Mike Martin of Florida State a choke artist? No, they are all excellent coaches!!

Spare the BS about resources!! The whole SEC has resources!! Thanks to the SEC Network!! Other schools do to. Mississippi State regularly fills up their 12,000 seat stadium!! So does Arkansas and South Carolina who fill their 8-10,000 seat stadiums!! Blue Bell Park in College Station is beautiful facility and don't tell me that Texas A&M doesn't have resources!! Also they have the state of Texas and tell me , Exactly how many CWS appearances does Rob Childers have? 0. Is he a choke artist? No, he is an excellent coach!

Since Manieri took over, LSU has been to the CWS 4 times, winning it once and advancing two other times and going two and out once! They have 4 SEC Titles, 5 SEC Tournament Titles, been to the post season 8 times and advanced to the Super Regional 6 times. That is not a legendary record like Skip Bertman, but it is solid record of accomplishment to be proud of as this is a different era!! Skip Bertman may be if not the greatest college baseball, then perhaps one of the top two or three. He is not coming back to coach LSU and neither are the great coaches of today going to leave their schools to come here when they are well compensated and have just as many if not more resources!

They replaced 8 position players last year and came close to making it back to Omaha!

Get over yourselves!! Those of who you who gutlessly criticize Manieri and his player will likely kiss his and the players backsides in public!! You gutless cowards!! Go have another beer and gobble down some chicken wings at your favorite sports bar!

I know baseball enough to know what a championship team looks like, you fricking loser. That's what LSU baseball strives for every year, and rightfully should. This is LSU. We don't play to win the sec, we don't play to win the sec tourney, we don't play to make a regional, host or not, we play for a fricking natty...that's what we do. Paul manieri doesn't show that same drive in recruiting or whatever else you want to base success on. He hasn't done shite in 7 years. He has been an embarassment in the cws. I believe LSU can find a better coach that can utilize our resources better and have more consistent success. That's what i think and that's why I don't like manieri. He doesn't cut it in my opinion. You may think differently, and you're type would be the kine to let the coach ruin the program.
