That's an awful lot of talk about a changed offense when it's not even official yet.

A QB with a pulse would've set records with that offense.

I agree and without injuries or TM7 debacle, this year would have been similar. Doesn't mean scheme wasn't broken

You're right, ban bet if Cam Cameron isn't OC next year?

All defense
2011 is #2 all time in Offensive TDs scored, behind another Miles team, 2007.
In fact Miles owns 4/5 top spots in that category.

No, because I'm not an idiot. Just saying we may want to see if the scheme is even changed before proclaiming it as great.

The scheme wasn't the problem. In game play calling is what was lackluster, along with injuries.

And you'll see pretty much the same scheme, because Les and Cameron have pretty similar views on offensive philosophy.

Agreed jim, but the difference will be more fluid play calling

It was definitely part of the problem, if you deny that then i feel sorry for you

this. and it was offense injuries and offense execution that caused the problems.

the scheme had nothing to do with our problems and the play calling had little to do with it.

hopefully, our new OC will bring a bit of luck regarding injuries and the ability to coach up our players to execute better.

Still standing up for the offense, good for you. As for the media guide, I prefer looking at box scores personally.

Yes, Miles loved that 2011 offense so much it's gone Monday.
I agree, the fluidity of play calling and execution will be astronomically better under CC.

Like Flacco, I don't expect to see ZM run the option

It's almost like Miles let them down by bringing someone competent in to run the show

Personally I prefer to look at won/loss records. Any other statistic is meaningless pablum for the mindless.

and, this is the same scheme that harbaugh used in super bowl to beat brother harbaugh.
both used this scheme.

lm used the same scheme that balt. and s.f. used to reach the superbowl.

Probably rewatching all of Les' pressers where he uses the execution excuse time and time again

Everyone in this thread is correct. It was a combination of injuries, subpar QB play, bad play calling, poor execution, and not so good a scheme

Nice deflection from the truth.
All you can do is show a loss. Well '03 had one and '07 had two vs much lesser opponents.
That doesn't change the '11 offense's place in the history book as #2 in scoring all time, as much as you'd love to rewrite it.

I'm happy to get Cameron and think he'll only improve the O, but I don't need to lie about previous squads to spin any agenda.
I'll always call you fricks out on a lie about my Tigahs.
I hope the 2015 Media Guide has Miles with all 5 of the top 5 scoring offenses in LSU history.
I guess Miles will really leave a bad taste in your mouths then.

and frick all you lying haters.
No I aint mad, just bringin truth.
