Oh DE is so efficient. Blah blah blah. His arm is a fricking noodle.

the reason we were embarrassed(which is beyond losing) is not because of Etling

I know right a QB with a real arm would have made that ball stick in the WRs facemask.

I don't care who you have in there as QB. If your O line isn't giving you protection, your life is practically going to be flashing before your eyes on every snap. He didn't play perfect by any means, but the O line and receivers didn't do him any favors either.

Etling's pocket presence is still great.

Our O-line and receivers suck.

He's average. When you give an average QB nothing to work with, he's not going to be good.

All of the offense was bad. Etling doesn't get a pass, but they all stunk.

Funny Brandon Harris never this benefit of the doubt.

Ehh, last night he wasn't good there either. He was running for his life at times, and I'm pretty sure it affected him the few times he did have a pocket. He didn't step into throws and didn't move well.

Harris never repeatedly hit his receivers in the hands and face

Because BH would airmail screen passes when he wasn't pressured.

Harris could scramble.
Etling is a little better passer.

Harris never got the excuse of the o-line to you pumpers on here.
Only Etling does.

I like Etling. He's still way better than Brandon Harris.

I do agree though that his arm strength limits some throws that a QB needs to make.

We need a QB that can dart a 20-25 yard out on arm strength alone. Etling can't do it when his feet are set sometimes.

Harris threw garbage when he was not pressured.

How is that the o-lines fault?

He couldn't hit a receiver in the helmet if we made them ALL stand next to on another.

He had a great apgsme last weekend though. Was very glad for him.
