When we surround our offense around Lowell Narcisse. And get rid of the prostyle offense.

Read this back to yourself. Do you really think lsu has missed on the last 6 qbs, but these other schools usually strike gold?

Or could it be that we have decent QBs and some that could actually be Damn good, but out scheme and coaching sucks?

All the QBs we've trotted out the past 10 years have been 4 stars or above. Every single one of them. And many were offered by those schools you mentioned above.

We'll have them routinely with several different HCs that are proven to make good QBs.

In Mullen's 2nd year at Miss St, he took a 2 star QB and won 9 games, the first time they won that many games since 1999. Two years later, his next QB breaks Miss St single season passing records. Two years later, his next QB breaks all kinds of Miss St records and Miss St wins double digit games for the first time since 1999 (with HC Jackie Sherrill). Nick Fitzgerald is following the same path and Miss St will be on the rise with him next year if Mullen is still there. He already has 2544 total yards and 24 total TDs in only 9 games. He's on pace for over 2400 pass yards and 23 TDs, and over 1200 rush yards and 12 TDs.

Larry Fedora has already had 3 great QBs in only 5 years at UNC with Bryn Renner, Marquise Williams, and now Mitch Trubisky. Renner wasn't originally his (he had a great the year before Fedora), but he did get one great year out of him, and was on pace for another decent year but was cut short after only 7 games. Marquise Williams finished off that year and looked like Dak Prescott and finally gave UNC a run game. They both combined for 3460 pass yards 25 TDs and 11 ints, while Williams was UNC's leading rusher with 536 yards and 6 TDs. Williams is the all time single season and career leader in total O and scoring in UNC history and owns 4 of the top 5 total O game performances in team history. Mitch Trubisky is going to break every single season passing record for UNC this year. Trubisky has over 2700 pass yards 19 TDs 2 ints and 145 rush yards and 5 TDs, in only 9 games. He's on pace for 3910 pass yards and 27 TDs, and 210 rush yards and 7 TDs. UNC should have their second straight 11 win season this year. The last time they won double digit games before Fedora was 1997 and the last time the did double digit wins consecutively was 96-97. Their coach at that time was none other than Mack Brown.

Tom Herman has done a bit of everything on offense. When he was a GA at Texas he helped coached the OL that produced 2 All Americans. When he was at Sam Houston State as WR coach his WR won the division 1-AA WR of the year award. At Texas St as an OC/QB coach, his teams lead the conference in total offense both years, was a major part of their first time making a playoff appearance, and his QB was 5th in the Walter Payton Award which went to the top offensive player. Then he heads to Rice as OC/QB coach and breaks 40 offensive records in year one. The QB puts up 3377 pass yards (59.1%) 29 TDs 16 ints, and was the leading rusher with 538 yards and 8 TDs. The very next year Rice goes 10-3 (up from 3-9), and the QB puts up ridiculous numbers. He has 4119 pass yards (66.5%) 44 TDs 7 ints, 693 rush yards 12 TDs, and had 2 rec for 22 yards and a TD. When Herman and the QB left, RIce went 2-10. He is responsible for 3 straight Big 12 player of the years at QB with Ohio St, and even his backup QBs where phenomenal when the starters were injured for games at a time. Before him, Urban Meyer had never had a single season 1000 yard rusher in his career, Meyer had 4 in 3 consecutive years with Herman. He also brought the "power" to Urban's spread offense. At Houston Greg Ward throws for 2880 yards (67.2%) and 17 TDs to 6 ints, adding 1110 rush yards and 21 TDs in a little over 13 games, and Houston goes 13-1. Houston lost a lot off their team (especially on offense), but GWJr has around 2420 pass yards (69.4%) 14 TDs 8 ints, 432 rush yards 8 TDs, and should finish with 10-11 wins this year. He's on pace for 3930 pass yards 23 TDs and 700 rush yards and 13 TDs.

The winner is sitting on the bench in Scott. He would have changed the complexity of that type of game.

Who has Vandy had that's better than what we've had? For that matter, who has Florida had since Tebow?

Breenan gets us exactly what Etling gave us. We NEED a dual threat quaterback running a spread offense. Coach O's statement that he will get a pro style quarterback let me know he's not the guy for the job. All you guys begging for Herman or Jimbo but still think Breenan runs the offense, do not keep up with college football. The DT quarterback in the spread or some variation of it is going to be LSU's future.
