Gonna guess 2012
Kind of surprised Hill didn't get to 1,000 yards in 2012. He was a beast from the mid-way point of the season that year.

This season was LSU's worst rushing season since 2009 based on a yards/game avg

Running back is one of the few (if only) positions on the roster that I never worry about. Heading into 2018, LSU did not have a returning running back on the roster who had scored a touchdown for the first time in over 20 years. Yet Nick Brossette (no superstar) rushed for 1,039 yards and 14 touchdowns that season.

Won’t be as common anymore with the way the game has shifted to passing. Look at SEC scoring this year. It was like Big 12 numbers.
I think 1,000 yard rushers are a thing of the past.

Emery is our best option going forward

you got 4 guys in the SEC at (or within 30 yds) of it with only 10 or 11 games played.
Tank Bigsby has a shot at getting there for the bowl (needs 150-ish). and a total of 5 guys with less than 300yds to get there. That’s less than 100 yards per game needed to. be at 1,000 in a year with a normal amount of games.
stretch that out to 12 or 13 games, and you’re looking at a typical year of back hitting that number.

TDP and Emery going to wreck shop next season.

Clyde had 958 yards through 10 games last year.

To be fair this was a shortened season and we ran RB by committee

What makes you say that? They have both been average at best.

I hope Tre can bulk up and take over

We do not want a running back having 1,000 yard rushing seasons. We want to use multiple backs and we want them pass blocking and catching the ball.
What is the point of your comment.

TDP is the best back to this point mostly he's the most physical and efficient running behind a mostly ineffective oline against top tier SEC teams.
Recruit, sign, and develop olinemen PLEASE! O, you job could hinge on these requirements or the lack thereof.
