Lost their Friday & Saturday starting pitcher and their best hitter in the same season?
If it’s happened, how did they do?
Imagine if:
2023, lose Skenes, Floyd and Crews
2025, lose Anderson, Eyanson and Jones
I get that Evans, Moore and Brown are not quite these guys above. Yet still their best.

Let’s not pretend this was the reason we are terrible this year. This team was never good.

This team was poorly constructed. They misevaluated the portal guys, the returning pitchers didn’t develop, and might be the worse infield maybe ever and definitely the worse group of defensive catchers

We lost a series to Sacramento state at home before all of that...we were bad from the beginning

This board would have called this a net positive. Most of them wanted Jones benched anyway.

We were losing games with Evans and Moore pitching before they got hurt. We were losing games before Brown got hurt. We were scoring runs after Brown got hurt.
The most disappointing thing about this season was not the losing. It was the lack of development with guys who were on the team last year. No one pitching wise took a step forward. NO ONE!
