Just bring a little kid by the cage and he'll come out. He loves stalking those kids 3 and under.

If you live In baton rouge I'm pretty sure. Unless you're one of the few homes that cost more. And even so, the couple most expensive homes aren't even that much more.

Place your kid near the walls in a zebra pattern hoodie, you'll get a chance to see him.

When is Mike in his cage?

Excuse me- his 'habitat'

Either way, I'm excited for my son to finally get to see him in person.

If it's real hot he may be swimming in his lagoon, or sleeping in the shade (Nicholson Drive side.)

According to a FB post, Mike will be inside today for lawn maintenance in his habitat. He should be back outside tomorrow (Friday).

We pretty much only get to come in town for Thanksgiving the past few years, the highlight of the trip is my daughter getting to go see Mike.

It's an important distinction.

When I graduated in 2001, we still kept Mike in a cage. A shameful, squalid, 2000 square-foot cage.

His new habitat is world class. It's 15,000 square feet. He has trees, grass, and a waterfall. It's the finest tiger habitat in America, and LSU students paid for much of it with donations.

In 2003, PETA put together a campaign to try and force us to get rid of Mike. It fell flat on its face because we could legitimately say that Mike is the centerpiece of a tiger research program. When we let people call his $3 millon habitat a, "cage," we give ground on the issue.

Hey motherfricker, he previously lived in an awful little cage when I went to school there. Fortunately, my class voted to build him that 4 million dollar (or whatever it cost) habitat.

Get it right dammit.

It's really cool. As long as I'm away from BR (plan to return one day) we will always make at least one game so my boy can get his pic on the statue and by mike.

No zebras in Asia. Better off painting a red dot on the kids forehead.
