When they included all SEC teams in the tournament it went to full single.
Before Texas and OK entered the SEC the bottom two teams didn't participate so that was 4 less teams. It was double after the second day.

With a full 16 team there is no longer double elimination. Which I don’t like but also understand.

How about any school west of the Mississippi?
Any school that used to be in a conference with the word "Big".
