Larson is gone,
I’ve been hoping he would get more ABs to break his slump!
Last week or so, he’s gotten more chances.

Do you also think Milam transfers? I read on Tigerdroppings that he should be benched. I would love your input on this subject.

Ohman from Yale is definitely a very interesting pitching prospect, especially being a freshman

Rylan Lujo is another one to check out - position player. He is a freshman at Dayton playing 3rd.

(Dayton also has a good Soph CF named Michael DiMartini)
A few other small school Soph position players who are doing well this year at the plate are:
Joe Tiroly, Rider
Cider Canon, Davidson
Tyler Minick, UConn

we have a very large freshman class coming...so I don't know how much CJJ can take on in the portal. Maybe a few pieces but not a huge haul with the new roster limits.

7-0 with a .89 ERA, 71k/17BB in 60.2 IP. Fastball up to 97.
He'll be in the SEC next year. Hope it's not at A&m or Texas given those teams/staffs recent connection to the Ivys.

It's never a good idea to predict portal entries, especially mid season. Players' families read this board. Just make an internal list.
Big class coming in but those come with obvious draft risks. We also have a ton of vets on this team, and especially this staff.
Jay probably limits the portal haul to 3-4 arms, an OF, a corner IF, and a middle IF. I doubt they'll be able to take more than 7.
You have C locked up between Arrambide and the incoming freshman. You have SS locked up, you have CF and RF locked up. I am a pretty firm believer that between Evans/Rizy/Williams/Schmidt, you have 2 weekend starters at minimum locked up.
So you likely have competition at 2B, 3B, 1B, LF, C, and a weekend spot. You still (as of now) have Reaves, Pearason, Ryan, and Hogg on the roster for the infield/corner OF. There's too many moving parts to really try and evaluate things at this time.

Larson isn't healthy. I think he's being given alot of opportunities, given his health status. When he was healthy this season, if ever, other guys were just outplaying him. Jay loves Larson. He'll be given every opportunity to be an every day player, now and in the future. The harsh reality is that Jay is running this program like a business, as he should - if he finds other options, he will also give those options the same opportunities as Larson. You have to be healthy and perform.

Jay has to get a starter out the portal i think to solidfy the weekend rotation. Not sold on Rizzy and Williams
