I mean if he was going to leave, don't yall think he would've already said so? That's how I'm looking at it
If he was going to stay don't you think he would have already said it? Why wait
Works both ways.
If anything I don't see a reason to wait to reveal you are staying, but I see a reason to wait to announce you are leaving (being pressured not to "let everyone down").
With that said I hope he stays obviously

Been thinking this too. Could be holding off to announce leaving to avoid criticism.

Yeah but what about Howard? He caught more passes for more yards and more TDs on the big stage in his last game. His ceiling can't possibly get any higher, and he said he's coming back as well. Guess Bama does pay, so why would he take a pay cut

Howard
The only thing I can think of is that he got a low draft grade and some scouts want to see more body of work.

How does Bama do it? Just saw that Jonathan Allen said he's coming back. Dude was a first round projection, like 12-17. Why
Because they compete for championships yearly and want to plau for Saban is my best guess (graduation as well). Mosley and Ragland did the same thing the last two years. The best player on their defense stays for his senior season. I mean even Mark Ingram stayed after his heisman/national championship winning season.
If you were committed to Bama between 2008 and 2012 and exhausted your eligibility, you have won 2-3 national championships. 5th year seniors from 2007 also won 2 national championships.

Lol....so playing for saban is greater than $$$
You need to open your eyes.

I'm sure most kids would take a title over money

You need to open your eyes. These are top 15 overall players coming back for their senior season. Bama can't afford the money they lose if they happen to get badly injured or suck to high heaven. You think a couple 100 thousand trumps millions? Is that what you are saying? I'm just trying to be clear here.
I can play along with other posters joking about the Bama salary, but it's not close to the money they get if they leave now.
Saban poat 2010 is running on God mode. Three national championships in 5 years, 3 SEC championships in 5 years, 5 straight #1 recruiting classes, 7 total losses in 5 years, just total domination.
Saban can take any old janky QB and make him successful enough in his offense. His coordinators grab head coaching jobs left and right, he runs out a top level RB every year like clockwork, #1 draft picks far ahead of everybody, 5 star talent far ahead of everybody.
Playing for Saban equals winning championships. I just don't understand what you are trying to say or don't understand.
To add, Bama is the school they love and the ones that vomd back also want to graduate from it.

Henry Declared and Kiper has him as a 3rd Round Pick! I do not think the money for 3rd Round is all that good?
He had 395 carries.
That's a TON The kid can't afford to wear himself down like that again.

It's not, but it gets you to your 2nd contract a year earlier. The difference between 1st rd and 3rd rd money isn't that big a deal anymore. Plus if he'd come back he would've added about 5000 more carries on his body which conceivably shortens his career.

Ingram won the Heisman as a sophomore. He could not have come out after that season.

Or he could be waiting until the last minute to see exactly what other LBs commit to an already stacked LB class to inform his decision. He has nothing to gain by announcing either way early.

Ragland, Jack, Jalen, Scooby, the linebacker at Temple are all in it. Thats tough a draw, i really hope he comes back and next year he's like clear cut top linebacker guaranteed 1st round.
