Gator fan here, left my board for a bit because the negativity there is....sickening.

Thought I'd hop over here for a few days, weeks, whatever.

My prediction for the game Saturday

LSU 27
Florida 23

Thats realistic in my opinion. I know it can be flip flopped just as easily. I want my Gators to go prove me wrong, but I fear/respect LSU more so than any SEC team. Miles has grown on me, and he is the real deal...I think. I think you will be able to gut us with Scott. Williams and Holliday (sp) will get their touches, but we are pretty fast on D. We always struggle against someone who can pound it down our throats.

Look forward to posting with yall.

Go Gators.

I hope you are right on that score as well. I am optimistic myself for the Tigers.

Welcome, and should be nominated for the "Best First Post of the Year" award...

will be a very tough game. i will give a slight advantage to the gators because it is being played in the swamp. however, if we can win the turnover battle, we could win this one.

Fair assessment. Score could be flip-flopped. The features will be LSU's run and Florida's WR speed. Meyer needs to create opportunities for the fast guys to get some open-field running. If that doesn't happen I think LSU's lines will control the game.

I think we're the better team, but we always play poorly in the Swamp (even when we win).

very nice first post. I'd say that's a pretty good prediction for the game and I also agree it can be flipped around just as easily. I just think Scott is going to have a HUGE game. As long as we don't turn the ball over...I think we've got it in the bag, IMHO.

WELCOME TO THE RANT!

Hi Gator ... welcome ... got a link to that negativity?

We're traveling on Friday to Gainseville ... I've heard horror stories about Florida fans ... should I take it with a grain of salt? That's my plan as I know every school has their idiot fans. Hoping for an awesome time and an awesome game ... in our favor of course!

This may be a short stay. Here's to each team remaining "with health" on Sat., the best team wins and each of us win out the rest of the way and see each other in Atl. in December.

The Swamp SHOULD be rocking, but looking at the Miami game at 8PM earlier, the crowd wasn't really into it for a solid 4 quarters.

Thinking back to a few night games for us in the past, we lost to Awby and yall last year at night. 2006 we lost to Awby at night. 2005 we were ok, but remember...ya'll beat us in The Swamp at night in 2004.

Then again, we had the Zooker back then

It is going to be a great game either way. We'll see if Florida and Tebow is ready to step up against a highly ranked opponent, or we'll see that LSU is the defending National Champs for a reason.

Off to class now, be back later.

Let's hope our team doesn't become a turnover machine ala @ the swamp 2006.
I think if both teams are on their A game, it will be a high scoring game. LSU has always struggled with mobile QBs, and Florida struggles against a physical running game.

The Sky is Falling

Its your basic SEC road thing. We have some pompous Aholes but we also have guys willing to give credit where credit is due. Enjoy your trip!

We do exist!

On gameday I am a blind Gator homer, but during the week I try to stay objective and take off my orange and blue glasses.
