but we do need some depth on the dline next year if Shelvin is a no go. JUst make the move to NT. With his size, how bad can he be? He looks to be in fairly good condition

Yeah I mean Depth next year we need something.

If Lawrence and Fehoko go we may be in for a rough patch.

We essentially played Alexander Fehoko Lawrence and Logan exclusively last game.

Even if Farrell makes a jump in quality we’ll be really fricking shallow if if we lose 2 of those 4.

If Shelvin doesn't get his shite together we are going to be alarmingly thin as far as big guys on the Dline. I would hope some big time recruit somewhere could be sold on the opportunity for early PT on a big time defense in SEC country.

Attention all graduate transfer DT superstars or JUCO DT dominators please apply!

Campbell especially but I think you can count Magee in that number as a reason why if you sign any less than 4 OL per year you don't have a good class. High school OL are very difficult to project regardless of stars. There are usually 1-2 offensive tackles per class that you can easily project to be highly productive at the college level. Guards maybe a couple more. But the worst thing you can do is sign a couple OL per year, pat yourself on the back for them both being 4* and think you are set at OL.

I agree 1000%. I want to see 4-5 OL in every class. You need the big hogs in the trench for the offense to work. Doesn't matter how many superstar WR you have if the QB has no time to get them the ball

You need to sign plenty big hogs on both sides of the ball. On the DL you need 3-4 big hogs every class, I'm not counting the Chaissons or Travez Moores, but the space eaters like the Alexander and Lawrences.

Needs to move to nose tackle . He’s 4th string LG at this point

Might not be a bad idea since Shelvin isn't panning out for us
