AU did the same for Cam.....

The NCAA ruled that Newton is not responsible for his father's actions involving schools other than Auburn. Duh. Please provide evidence that Auburn paid for Cam Newton's services.

Cam has a trail a mile long of stupid shite he's done while in College......exactly what, besides this incident, has Ridley done?

But that doesn't prove Auburn is

Who gives a damn if AU paid Cam or not.....his dad asked MSU for money to have his son play ball for them.

Cam has stolen a laptop....tried to destroy the evidence.....numerous violations involving a vehicle that were swept under the rug......ANNNNND cheating.

Yet.......he goes unpunished

Seems fair to me

how much do you think the NCAA would actually stand to make from a bowl game? seeing as how the BCS and the NCAA are separate entities

Ok fine, here's the record of your posts:

Low down on the Ridley situation

NCAA....while technically is non-profit....promotes these BCS conferences and the games.

It's ALL about the $$$

Sponsors.....you think they want to ruin a BCS Championship Game w/ AU and Oregon?

No

The NCAA also doesn't want to piss of the gambling business........it is what it is.

Time for the NCAA to go away. People like cam newton and the Ohio state group can just play dumb and act like they don't know the rules and get off Scott free while Ridley and lsu can commit a lesser violation and be honest about it and get the hammer. The message: lie

Because Auburn is in the SEC, which is a conference in the NCAA. So therefore, the NCAA gets its fair share from however their contract is drawn up.

Let me ask you guys a question, how exactly do you think the NCAA makes money? Do you think that it is a bunch of people donating their time and effort or what?

In addition to your crying, poor attempt to hijack the thread.

Great that you try to remember my sig quote, albeit incorrectly . Pure obsession there.

Yeah "Pure obsession" explains why I can't fully recall yet another example of your gibberish.

It was something along the lines of "For want of a better word, I maintain that LSU fans are obsessed with USC." Or words to that effect.

I recall what happened after I told you in that thread that LSU fans were only reacting to occasions that USC was in the news...usually for something bad. You necroed the thread, not once, but twice, hoping some LSU fan would take the bait. None did. I lolled.

Doesn't matter what the exact words were, the intent, comical as it was, is the same.

As usual, silly pics are a part of any thread involving TD's most persistent pest. You're like Mr. Jingles from The Green Mile.

Ironic, isn't it? That you would accuse me of " Pure obsession", when as I've demonstrated, you post in any and all threads that show LSU in a negative light?

Like a moth to a flame. You just can't help yourself.

The facts are, LSU still isn't on probation and isn't likely to be. We aren't going to get a bowl ban. We'll never have as many penalties as certain other schools.

No one will ever compare our program with SMU's.

Have fun hating, and stick that in your in basket. You are, and always will be, pathetic.

LSU ruled Ridley ineligible and then appealed to the NCAA for reinstatement. Its the Holidays. The NCAA offices are probably closed so his reinstatement wont be heard until next week or the first week of 2011. I believe he will be reinstated

IMO.. if Ohio St Players can play in the Bowl game..so should Ridley.

Lulz. Yeah, Stephan's about to get lapped, probably for good. Though, if the NCAA does (and prob will) re-instate him and knowing Les Miles's penchant for playing seniors, he'll be back starting next year. BUT, he's about to lose a lot of carries. And let me be clear, I like Ridley and hope that he learns something from this incident. His statement seemed level-headed and contrite, so that's a start.

BTW, how many times have you brought USC into this thread? I see you tpued those letters about 5-6 times or brought in quotes from completely unrelated threads, completely unprompted. There ya go.

Now, admit you are wrong and stop your
