I see the tents set up. Barely anyone around them. This is on the corner of west chimes and Nicholson though. Haven't gone more into campus yet.

I normally don't take a car out on the roads on gameday, but felt confident enough to run some early morning errands. Driving back down Nicholson and across Aster, tailgating setups are extremely light. So far, not that many indications it is a game day, much less the home opener.

I'm curious about tgbftl on their Victory Hill march this afternoon. Looking at rehearsals on the band hall parade ground this week, numbers look WAY down. Looked like not much more than 200, including GG, flag corps, etc.

There is nothing better than having to park a mile away from your tailgate even though nobody is on campus.

Sounds like the band kids are trying to send F. King a message by staying away from Tiger Band, much like the fans are planning to stay away from the game until something is done about Miles.

My high school band had almost 200 members. Such a shame that a once proud LSU tradition is being destroyed by King and his cronies in the School of Music. TGBFTL is gonna get their asses handed to them tonight by JSU's 400 member band.

I would expect campus to look like a ghost town until a couple of hours before game. loading my shite up now to head down for the day.

It's game over for Les. I've talked to alot of die hard fans this week and they will not watch another game while Les is the coach. Its kind of shocking, but he is regressing this team every year. He won't make it through the season

Apparently the band numbers are way down this year as a result of Roy's firing and Alexander's meddling with the school of music. They are not sitting out the game. They didn't join the band to begin with.

That's a shame. So they won't watch their so called favorite team because of the coach? They sound "die hard"
