Campbell's issue is our center is hammered dogshit and our backup left guard is a redshirt freshman left tackle playing out of position with zero playing time

I've heard all my life that the offensive line is a team in itself. They have to play together for a period before they operate smoothly and efficiently.

Its not happening on this team.
Don't know it its strength and conditioning,
The O Line Coach, the OC, or the Head Coach.

Nuss making the checks. It takes too long

This is a problem making the OT's hold a position for too long.

He believed his own press and isn’t as tough as he pretends to be.

The kid is above average with his overall body of work. Much better at pass blocking than run blocking. What I struggle to understand is how so many people put him in an 'all american' category after not seeing anything consistently spectacular out of him last year. Same thing on the other side. Maybe all that hype did go to their heads, but all american? No way.

He was literally voted as an all american last year, that’s why everyone says he’s an all american. Because he quite literally is one.

Teams care a lot more about what he does when the ball is snapped.

And he’s really good at that,

It's clear Sloan is calling a play with a run or pass option tagged with it, and it's Nussmeier's job at the line to sort out what to do based upon the defense. That's commonplace in the NFL. This isn't the NFL. So you are asking a 1st year QB to sort out every play and the OL to hold and wait for the checks...sometimes multiple checks before the ball is snapped. It's as if LSU is always trying to get into the perfect play and, in doing so, sometimes ends up with confusion.
Sounds like an overly complicated "Matt House" Offense that's too hard for the players to learn and execute in a game..........

How do you or anyone know that Nuss has a terrible cadence. I agree it is important, but how does anyone know unless you are on the field and hear it often.
this sounds like the complaints that Nuss will not step up into the pocket, without actually looking at game film and seeing what is coming at him in that pocket from the pitiful excuses for blockers from our lg and center. LSU passing game and all the Nuss criticism has come since the 2nd half of the A&M game when Dellinger went down with an injury. Our offense hasn't been the same and we should be smart enough to figure out why, and it isn't all on Nuss.

Glacially slow offensive execution which is on Kelly and Sloan.
