This is going sound nuts but I think we should run the Wishbone triple option. Teams that lack talent use this effectivly. (air Force)

Bama could defend against this If they knew It was coming but we've run almost no option this year. You've got to know its coming.

ware at qb Hilliard at FB Hill and Ford at tb

They would not be prep. for this.

Mix it in maybe run it with no hudle.

Run play action on first down. Hopefully complete them and make bama have to respect the pass to take the 9th and/or 10th man out the box

I did not mean we don't have talent. What I ment was that if teams with no talent get production out of this Off. then LSU with all our great tailbacks would do well with the wishbone.

I think your secondary is behind on testing. Alabama first team held Tennessee to 10 points. Overall Alabama only gave up 203 yards passing. Would you rather have Tennessee's offense or yours? LSU has not faced a good passing attack.

Wish I :thats a good plan but we have to run the play action right for it to have effect.

JL did this against WV last year.

The fake on the play action this year is done so poorly that it has not worked.

You don't just pick up an offense like air force in one week on a whim

Those guys practice that shite all the time and know all the reads

What? TAMU was a good passing team until they faced us and USCe was good until they faced us. I would say Bama hasn't faced as much passing as LSU thus far into the season.

Blue being out slightly hurts. I wouldve lined up in 4 wides and the pistol and handed him gives, which would have eventually set up playaction. Bubble and slip screens , pick routes, and corners etc all out of the same formation.

Lining up and going our usual ground and pound wont cut the mustard though whams and traps have been slightly successful against Bama this year. Id try to make the game as short as possible, create long substained drives to wear them out for the finish and limit their possessions offensively.

LSU's offensive pass routes are just ASININE.

Watching the simple routes ND put in for their young QB made this all the more clear. It is not that hard to have some simple routes that give our guys easy reads and throws.

Man, Miles needs to fire himself from any offensive interaction and hire Jim Chaney from Tennessee once he gets canned in a few weeks.
