But if we don’t score then they would have to score 68 for the over.

I think it all depends on how bad Nick wants to impress the poll voters.

I think they could basically name the score. They could beat us by 60 if they wanted. I don’t think it will be quite that bad though, and I think we probably get a garbage time touchdown. They will be in cruise control by early 3rd quarter. I don’t think Saban is worried about impressing the committee that much because they aren’t losing anyway. They will be the 1 seed no matter what if they win out.

That's a good point about Nick really not needing to impress the poll voters. Depending on how Bama is playing, he might take his foot off the accelerator if Bama is up by 49. I still don't think we score against Bama unless Nick is playing his 3rd stringers.

And I'm surprised the O/U hasn't gone down. The so called smart betters must think Bama is going to beat the ever loving sh*t out of us. If I was a betting man, I'd bet the under.

I agree, because even at like 56-10, that would still be under.

43 I would consider it, 45 I would pull the trigger.

I just looked at LasVegasInsider. DraftKings has Bama as a 30 1/2 point favorite. The rest of the books still have Bama @ 28 1/2. The top O/U is 68 1/2. That suggests to me a 49 - 19 Bama win. I would be surprised if Bama doesn't score more than 49. I would be shocked if we scored 19.

DraftKings has dropped to 28 1/2. Big bucks being bet on LSU I suspect.

well first of all, we won't score. we may not cross mid field unless bama fumbles on their end of the field. They will score maybe every time they have the ball. The question is when does saban put in the walkons. I'm going to guess mid 3rd quarter, but backups beginning the second half. I'd take Bama and 41.

It would have to be at least 45 for me to even consider it.

Save your money. The line has remained steady at 28 1/2. I would have a full head of hair again before the line moved to 45.

Pick the under. That spread opening at 26 is too low. And with Marshall being a pussy and leaving it would seam it should be higher. However, still a rivalry game and LSU will motivate the young guys to try and set a statement performance and they will ball out. Boutte will replace Marshall and show them he is not missed. Roy and the new boys on the DL will ball out and the game will be 38-17...I hope its that close

The only possible way I see us scoring 17 is if Bama is so far ahead in the 2nd half & Nick pulls the starters on D. The Vegas odds makers must think we're going to score at least 17. The spread is still 28 1/2 & the O/U is 67 1/2.
