It'd probably be closer than you'd expect depending on the day and if the LSUS pitcher was having a good day.

That lefty that was 16-0 would give LSU some trouble. Not only can he throw strikes, he throws from multiple arm slots and has command of those off speed pitches. You don’t need to throw 97 to win a ton of games with his command. They are very good defensively. I think the cream rises to the top and people like Frey would break through but he would be hard on several of LSUs hitters.
Brown would not play against him.

Baseball isn’t like other sports. Way lesser teams can hang on some days.

College teams have beaten MLB teams in offseason scrimmages.

I’m pretty sure the Phillies (or some iteration of them) lost to a DII school once.

I think he is a senior.
Their entire roster is made up of older players from all over the country. They collected a a bunch of guys that look 25 from different schools. Some played at 3 different programs. What they accomplished was remarkable but considering how they built the team from talented players from big programs, it isn’t surprising they were successful.

If we had LSU-S's schedule, do we even go 59-0? Probably not. Maybe 55-4.

Obviously LSU Baton Rouge is a much better program and team even this year. However I will say this……….I would bet against LSU Baton Rouge Doing that entire schedule undefeated (59-0) the Pilots just completed. It’s very impressive now matter how you look at it.
