I disagree.
I think Okie Lite would have gotten in the End Zone much more frequently. Like, probably 3-4 times, as opposed to once late in the game when it didn't matter.

And here is where being a fan of an entitled/media darling is why you will never relate to an LSU fan.
I get you are trying to be nice, and I appreciate this, but you will never get it. Ever. And more power to you!

We did play an awful game of offensive football. But just so you know, we'll be amazingly gracious hosts, we'll feed you food that you can only imagine cooking, we'll give you drinks on the house, and then we'll beat the everliving crap out of you and smile graciously after doing so.
Hey as long as you're talking about on the field, then that is all we can hope for. Let's face it, we have 2 great teams, and 2 great coaches, and one has to win and one has to lose, but that doesn't mean we can't enjoy the time spent at each other's campus.
I understand how you guys feel. I was sick back in Nov. when we lost, and it wasn't simply because we lost, it was because I felt like our players were not giving it their all, and doing the best that could. Even with the lost, it didn't make me want to go out and beat the crap out of someone or do property damage. I'm sorry, but that is just stupid.

Nope. Im confident as hell, I just hate everything there is to do with Alabama. I despise you people at a cellular level and that is why I have to restrain myself from punching each of you in the temple when you walk past my tailgate. It has nothing to do with not being confident and everything to do with pure hatred.

You need to talk to somebody. Football aside, this is just not healthy to think and feel like this. Sorry, just can't understand this much hatred.

Come on guys lets be honest. With the way the LSU offense played that night, Oklahoma State would have done the same thing that we did. Would you have rather been beaten by this little school?
I hope you're joking? If you arent , then you don know football. It was our inability to run the ball that screwed us on offense. The only team thy could stop our running game was Bama. We would hav skull drug OSU

I wouldn't want to be a Bama fan coming to Tiger Stadium for the game this year. The loss, the obnoxiousness and tea bag incident are going to make the intensity at gameday something I wouldn't want to be around if I was a Bama fan. You may not think LSU is your rival today, but come November, those feelings may just change...

You know, as burning as we are for revenge, that's the way Alabama was coming into Jan 9th. That's why rematches are hard for the 1st winning team. That's why having to play Alabama wasn't fair to us--we had to beat them twice, they had to win only once. And we never got to play at home in the two game exchange. The fact we had beaten them at Tuscaloosa was never taken into account when handing out the crystal--this is by the rules, of course, but nevertheless unfair.

You're right, and me and mine won't be there next year. It's just not worth it. I love my school and my team, but I don't want to get hurt, or property damaged, or spit upon. That is just not my idea of an enjoyable week-end. So if you win, you can celebrate alone, and if you lose you can cry alone.
I would be afraid to go, because if LSU gets behind, the fans start to leave, and I would be afraid they left just to wait outside to do some damage that their team couldn't do.

I live in Birmingham, and I can't wait for this game. Being an LSU fan and an alum, and living in Alabama sucks a fat one.

I actually think this will be the most embarrassing loss that Saban ever experiences. And I hope Les brings out Mo Isom to kick an extra point/FG.

quote:I would never incite violence or damage property, but hating Bama (and it's fans) on a cellular level is just part of being an LSU fan. It's always been that way. That stupid cheer, the obnoxious, self absorbed entitled fans, that roll TAAAWD in the awful accent, and the cheating Bear Bryant are among many reasons.
Even with the lost, it didn't make me want to go out and beat the crap out of someone or do property damage. I'm sorry, but that is just stupid.

Ha... Bama? That fan base is scared, as well they should be. None of the Bama regulars at our tailgate are coming. frick them.
ETA: I will continue to discourage any and all Bama fans from attending.

I'm not brave enough to come to that game. Win or lose it would be rough. You really shouldn't be so mad at us, all we did was play to win. It was nothing personal, but we wanted a win. Were you treated that bad when you came to Bryant Denny?
Yes
