I was one of the guys acting cocky towards the Badger fans earlier in the week and I am still expecting a win tomorrow by more than a TD but I am no longer cocky. As usual, we lost our two senior DT starters early to the draft last year. We lost an SEC caliber DT in QT along with a great looking freshman in LMFAO. Now that Bain is not in Hou, what can the Chief do to help out the obviously thinned DT position?

How about playing the occasional 5-2 with an extra DE?

Also, playing an extra MLB in one of the OLB spots might add bulk up front.

Now that RR is gone for the week, why not put a safety in that spot instead of our #3 corner? I am sure that LSU has a dozen DBs that can cover their WRs so why not use the DB who is best at shedding WR blocks and tackling a RB?

I really just have pretty vanilla thoughts on this so I am wondering if anyone actually knows any other options that the Chief might actually consider if these guys start pushing us around on the DL? Ya know... something to keep an eye out for during the game.

We're just hearing about RR, I can virtually guarantee you that Chief has known about this for some time.

It's not like it just fell into his lap. He's got it covered.

Chief will just run his defense like he always does and expect the DTs that are playing to do their job.

He never even made it to fall practice to look great.

Play LaCouture, Herron, Gilmore, Johnson, Godchaux and Thomas.

I mentioned this in another thread. Practices have been closed for a while now, so we're just now hearing about all the injuries and suspensions.

Wellll I played defense (and yes, my knowledge is greater than Chief's so never question it). From watching LSU since Chief, they're going with their original gameplan. Expect the players to do their job. If the middle starts to get pushed around then you'll see a few things: bigger DE, rotating into the middle, switching to a 3-4 and throw in Beckwith in the middle, have the safeties cheat up. Again all of this is so dependent.

Chief is gonna rouse up the Injuns with a pow-wow...gonna tan the firewater out their asses and make em ready to earn their wampum.

All the squaws are gonna give em heap'um encouragement, big big.

Gonna wear the ghost armor tonight.

He's from South Florida, use your imagination. He'll be back when we need him. Collins will be fine against Wisconsin.

Kung fu battle with the three boobed chick from total recall that ended when he overshot a tackle and ended up in Dr. Who's Tardis and traveled in time to when he had gone pro, making him ineligible?

Mills can step into the corner role if needed as well but I believe Collins, Paris, and Thomas will do just fine.

So is Mills suspended, or just not starting? Would like to have a tackler of his caliber back there.
