Agree with this 100%. The offense up until Jefferson was inserted as the starter was exactly what lsu needed. Strong running game with the ocassional pass just to keep the defense honest. The option plays were wasted plays in my opinion. Sure they worked in Bama 1 but only because the Tide was not ready for it. I understand the want to air it out with Mett and we should open it up some but with our defense and special teams there is no need to sling it around 30 to 35 times per game.
