you forgot about pissing off Darren McFadden in 2007 by pronouncing Arkansas "R-Kansas" leading up to the game.

Putting the best player on the field is IMO a tad easier coaching move to make than a hire or playcall at a certian situation in a football game.
All Im saying is that RJ starts over a RR there's probably a good reason why.

wasn't RJ supposed to start before the 2006 season until he blew out his knee?

Charles Scott was raping Kentucky in the first half of 2007, no lube. How man carries did he get in the 2nd half? 2?

i've heard that RJ will be the #4 WR over randall. that just doesn't seem to be right unless he's turns his body around

I'm sure it's standard operating procedure for any freshman to be at the back of the line when they hit the practice field for the first time.

certain biases like starting upperclassmen who are inferior early because they are upperclassmen

or biases like playing players who have prepared better and are more consistent across a broader set of plays

play on the field still trumps all to me

up to this point rj has shown he can come in on running plays and block. that is his consistency

somehow I really doubt Randle will be behind RJ on the depth chart by the time October rolls around, if at all. unless of course we call a slip screen.

as it does for all coaches I know of...that's why they play players who are prepared to contribute and be consistent for 60 minutes, or that's at least what Nick Saban told me

I wasn't referring to RJ, I would be surprised to see him take snaps in any meaningful role

Who's your source, Maximus? I doubt the coaches have made in definitive decisions about Randle's place on the depth chart when they haven't even seen him in practice yet.
