My Dad took me to Miss State or Ole Miss in 1947. I was 9 yrs old. LSWU won. Been a tiger fan ever since. Haven't missed a home game since 1999. Was in Nam when tigers lost to ND 3-0. Refused a dust off ride to Cam Rahn Bay so I could listen to game on AFRN at the field unit. Was stationed in Miss when the tigers got their revenge in 71.

Nov 20th, 1982. LSU 55 FSU 21.

The thing I still remember was the oranges being thrown on the field.

I cried myself to sleep the night before my first Tiger football game. I was barely eight years old and I had been planning to go Trick or Treating for the first time the next night. We rode a train from Shreveport to Baton Rouge the next day. I don't remember much from the game except it was foggy and loud. After the game I got to shake Mickey Mangum's hand. The date was October 31, 1959. We won 7-3

Bama game 1992. I was 5 and we had really god seats bc my uncle is a former player and former mayor of br, you might deduce his identity from that statement. Anyway, there was a student sitting behind my family, directly behind me who was pounding his rather large flask of what I later identified as bourbon. Well as the game goes on I notice he starts acting sickly. Because of this I tried to sit on mom's, my uncle's sister's lap. Bc she wanted to wath the game she make me go back to my seat. Well no more than 1 minute after I sit back down I get doused, drenched, soaked, engulfed, ect. in a waterfall of his regurgitation. I had a bad first time at an lsu game and the guy, let's call him Ralph, his dad worked for my uncles when he was in office. He wrote me a nice apology letter.

I had just made 8 years old.

Dude, think I was at that one, was 9 and Dad would pack me in the Fiat and head to the game via Airline to Highland Rd. and seem to remember this game!

Went to the game with my father, uncle, and a cousin. I had just made 8 years old. I knew the year of the game because I still had the program until that Katrina bitch destroyed it.

This post is spooky in regards to how it sounds exactly like what I would have said, down to the losing some irreplaceable LSU memorabilia in Katrina part. Don't remember the exact game, but it was against Alabama sometime in the mid-60's.

1963, LSU vs. Ole Miss. The great Joe Labruzzo runs 81 yds with a punt return, tackled at the 1. Tigers lose 37-3, but in my fuzzy memory, we won that day.

In 1969, My best friend's Dad brought us over from Mobile (no interstate back then) and LSU beat Auburn 21-20. Auburn missed an extra point and LSU blocked a FG. And BTW we dressed up gor the game. Button downs and khakis. Who knew that was gonna be a trend for many years

late 70's with my pops. At the end of the game, on the way to the truck, i found an LSU flag on the ground, one of those classic pointy ones, i thought i hit the powerball that night.

When my father was in college I recall swimming around his scrotum while at TS. Fond memories of dads swollen gonads.
