mine was 1968; against A&M. had a smoking hot date, a blind date. was in the student section, saw the golden girls for the first time, saw the law students enter "en masse" with their derbys and canes, drank jack daniels from a full bottle that my date got in in her purse (if you can imagine no one checking), shared it with the crowd around us. it was an unbelievable experience! ended up dating my blind date for a coupla months or so, we had such a great time. damn, where do the years go. ahh......LSU!

my first LSU games were 95 and 97 indy bowls
because i grew up in shreveport the fam wasnt able to make it down til 99 arky game aka rohans coming out party. its no 97 UF but it was still great for a 10 yr old kid

I don't know the opponent, but Jeff Wickersham was the QB. Maybe '83? There was an accident on the Mississippi River bridge. We didn't make it to the game until halftime. We sat way up in the West Upper. It made a hell of an impression though.

Miami of Ohio, '86 maybe??? I think we lost, don't really remember, I was a senior in HS and was spending the weekend with friends who were already enrolled at LSU. They lived at the corner of Brightside and Sharlo. Used to move their living room furniture out into the parking lot on game days and spend the day out there until time to go to the stadium. I think that was also about the time that there was an antique barbers chair at The Tiger that you could lay back in to receive your shot of adult beverage, again, memory is a little "fuzzy"

I was living in Florida at the time and was house sitting for a buddy of mine while Hurricane Frances came through. Watched that game on the tv and saw the deluge. Mom and dad were at that game and got soaked.
