But the LSU fans that BITCH about having to play Bama again are just sore losers instead of having A coach that made ZERO adjustments before OR during the game
When you win a regular season game, and that game becomes a rematch in a bowl game that season, it's a near guarantee you lose the rematch.

JJ didn't have it against Georgia in the SEC CC Game. we won that game on defense, special teams and the run game.
should have been an indicator.

No doubt, especially when Saban coaches the other team.
It would've been one thing for us to beat bama at home the first go around, but we went to their place and snuck out with a win. That should've been enough.

1/9/12 was absolutely worse because that game was solely about us. The OkSt/IowaSt game did not directly affect us at the time and that was just a fun upset to watch. OkSt wasn't the only team to have a shot at the natty that year, Stanford who won the Pac-12 could've easily been in the Dome that night playing against us.
1/9 is the black-eye that still hasn't healed yet. Until we beat Bama, it won't heal. I'm over it, I am but I want so badly to beat Bama to exercise whatever demons we still have from that night. It isn't hard to argue that the program hasn't been the same since 1/9 ... but with the roster we have now, and the talent we have on hand we can beat Bama (optimistically even this year).
let's do this.

Why is this still a conversation? I don't give a frick about 11/18/11 or 1/9/12! Those players aren't here anymore and those coaches aren't here anymore. The only date I'm concerned with right now is 9/2/17. Move on dude! You sound like someone still crying about their ex girlfriend years later.

Everybody was saying at the time of the upset that a rematch was all but assured.

Ding ding ding ding ding, we have a winner. I don't think it can be put any better than this.

It'd be much easier to get over if it wasn't a historically good team that had to replay the hardest game on their schedule thanks to a 28-point favorite blowing a 17-point, second half lead and having the likely game-winning field goal be called no good, all on a night where there was a campus tragedy that morning. Murphy's Law in action.

I've been over there that for a LOOOONG time. Everything you said just sounds like excuses to me. I don't say that to be a prick, it's just an opinion.
The LSU coach showed up with the same game plan from the previous game. I think that's where the focus should be, not on all of that other stuff.
