What was worse: 11/18/11 or 1/9/12?

11/18/11 led directly to 1/9/12 and was much more improbable. A 28-point favorite losing due to a blown call on a made FG, on a day where a campus tragedy occurred that morning.

I don't care what the other option is. 1/9 is my answer everytime. I never wanted to watch football again.

Until LSU wins another national title, the only answer is 1/9.

IMO, 1/9 is when the Bama obsession went to new heights. Sometimes I feel like this board should be called the Bama Rant.

Well, when you have to beat that team in order to win your division, conference and get to a playoff game, it's pretty important to discuss.

No doubt, 1-9-12....biggest game in 4-5 years, in NOLA, house full of people, and we played the worse game that I have ever seen a talented LSU football team play. It was embarrassing from the opening K/O to the final play.

This thread is like the rant's version of "What keeps you in Louisiana?"

1/9. I have never forgiven Miles for that game. I've gotten over the game itself, and the embarrassing loss, but I just don't have the forgiveness in my heart.

I don't blame him for 1/9. We exhausted our entire hand in the GoTC. There was nothing we could do. What I do blame Miles for is saying he would be "honored to play Alabama again" after winning the GoTC and not voting Oklahoma State #2 in his Coaches' Poll.

1/9/2012. Alabama beat LSU for the National Championship with the game plan that LSU should have employed.. Short Runs, and short passes for 1st downs move the chains.

It was obvious after the first series Jordon Jefferson didn't have it that night and Les refused to make a change at QB. It is the last game of the season for the National Championship game you put Jarret Lee in the game and if he does not have it you bring in ZakK Mettenburger.
