Yeah, he's stupid in that context on GameDay.
Nothing Wade said is "bad mouthing" his player/recruit. I don't condone getting recorded making a deal, but there was nothing wrong with what he said in the context of a negotiation.
Agree or disagree with paying of players, but Wade's trying to build a roster ... players understand that. And they also understand the back-and-forth negotiation that's going on since they're a party to it.
