Anyone Wanna take a stab at what our schedule might look like with this information?

I'll try....
Auburn- ESPN Night ( UF/TN on CBS)
UGA- CBS (Ole Miss @ Bama on espn)
State- ESPN Night (UGA/TN on CBS)
Florida- CBS ( A&M @ Ole Miss or UGA/Missouri or USC/ARKY)
Ole Miss- ESPN (A LOT of good games on this weekend)
Bama- CBS Night
A&M- CBS Day
ARkansas- CBS Day

What are yall thinking for the UGA game? If they lose this week to SC (which I will think will happen) could ESPN start this one as the bourbon and cheerios game, or do you think we would still be higher in the pecking order than A&M/Ark and be a night game?

Don't know. What I don't like is two marquee SEC games starting an hour apart, like UGA/Clemson @ 8 and TCU/LSU @ 9 ET last Saturday. DVR'ing is useless as one will know the score of the other game. The better games should not be televised in a competing manner like this but WTF do I know.

Edited for accuracy. A team can be on CBS 6 times in a season, not 5, but this can only happen 4 times during the length of the CBS contract.

quote:

SEC Digital Network: In the current television arrangement, how is the selection order determined for the networks?

Womack: By contract CBS has first selection of games each week and then ESPN selects games for its different platforms (ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, SEC NETWORK, FSN, CSS). CBS does have maximum appearance limitations of no more than five appearances per season for any one institution and can use six appearances for a school four times over the term of the agreement.

What years does this contract cover? And have any teams been featured 6 times already?

I believe it covers 2008-2023. As far as I know no team has been on 6 times, but I'm not about to go look through every team's schedule since 2008.

Thanks for the good info. I guess we have a lot of CBS games in the future.
