NCAA doesn’t make sense. It should be elimination game at 1 and late game at 6. You lose a bunch 12 year old fans trying to watch so late.

Home field advantage and a late start. Avoid the heat of the day unlike their opponent.
Long day for their opponent that has to start up a game day routine for an 2:00 pm start and then stand down and then do that all over again unlike a doubleheader that’s 30 minutes after the conclusion of the first game.
