What the morons here can't comprehend

The SEC this season is as good as ever. Florida has separated themselves as being the cream of the crop. Literally everybody from Arkansas (ranked 4th) to LSU (unranked) is neck and neck. That means teams like LSU, and everybody in between has been in an all out brawl every weekend with regional/super regional type competition.
Literally, the difference in this season for LSU has been a blown Sunday lead to Ole Miss (which gives LSU the series win) and a blown Friday lead to Arkansas. Had just those two things happened LSU is in serious contention for the SEC West, a regional host, and a hot streak from a national seed.
They didn't win those games, and the outcome is a bubble NCAA team. The margin of error from a host and not making the tournament at all is razor thin.
This team still has a lot to play for, and can pull off a very nice season when its all said and done.

The SEC is good every season. I don’t see much difference this year. We aren’t as good as usual, but we can still compete.
Arkansas and Mississippi St have both been good programs for a bit. And we’ve been better. Ole Miss is a little better this season I imagine. A&m has had better teams than this.. so it’s always a great league..
I just don’t see how the SEC is all that better this season.

Do these reasons work for coach O?
A few plays in the Bama game. One play in the ND game. One more possession vs. Troy? Darius running the wrong direction on the last play vs Florida?
2 plays and one more possession and ED O is 7-1 and 11-2. Funny how that works isn't it?
Would the tiger faithful have accepted O if had made those 2 plays? Something to ponder.

Three errors by Arkansas helped greatly, but sometimes luck can jumpstart a team. Hopefully, this is the case.

Maybe "better" is the incorrect word to use. I agree the SEC is always a top notch baseball conference. More balanced is probably a better way to describe it.
Usually there is a separation between top notch, good teams, and bad teams. This season there is Florida, everybody else, and then a few bottom feeders. The "everybody else" category really ranges from #4 ranked Arkansas to unranked bubble team LSU.
To the negatiger, CPM hating crowd, there is no doubt LSU has put themselves in a bad spot. They have lost numerous games they shouldn't have. I'm not saying they are a legit title continder.
However, if you have watched them all season and have seen them go toe to toe with some of the teams that are labeled "legit title contenders," then you should know they aren't out of this yet.
They have some work to do, but if this team gets into a regional then there will be a top seed of said region scared as shite to face LSU.

Using moron in your title and not recognizing the USC sweep is ironic. Semi nice analaysis of the SEC but isn’t that the SEC every year. How about you look at LSU as a team instead of the SEC.. Our starting pitching and offense has been inconsistent all season. Our semi-consistent bullpen has let us down when we needed a win (last night). Use whatever logic you need and call people morons that know more than you but this team, and not the SEC, will be it’s downfall. We will not make it past a sub-regional if we are lucky enough to make it that far.

Really? Talking about irony, yet you fail the realize that USC is probably the hottest team in the SEC right now. That sweep does not look nearly as bad right now as we thought it did at the time.
Look, I'm not saying LSU hasn't dug themselves in a whole. I'm not saying we have played great baseball. What I am saying is, if we can work out way into a regional (which is still a very legit possibility... shite, even hosting isn't totally out of the question) we can do some damage.
Let's say LSU is a 3 seed (worst case scenario, outside of missing all together) . You can't tell me after all the battles they have faced through the season that LSU can't beat any 2 seed.
Would you want to be a, let's say Southern Miss (1 seed) facing Hess or Hillard in game 2? I would have to say LSU's insanely tough SEC schedule will pay dividends right there. Win that game and you are almost guaranteed to get to a super.
Making a super regional should be the goal every season, even seasons like last year. Get to that point and literally anything can happen no matter how good, or how overrated, you are.
