Not only that, but, I have no confidence in LSU's capability to find an outstanding head football coach. LSU is run by a bunch of people who know nothing about coaching or hiring a coach.

This is lost on a lot of folks. We got lucky with Miles quite honestly.

LSU would be going down a tier to look for a head coach, basically rolling the dice on someone relatively unproven. With the Saban locomotive going full force, I'm relatively certain whoever we would hire would be crushed by the pressure that's been accumulated at this school.

Look at UF to see how quickly the wheels can fall off.

Nothing wrong, their OL is the big reason they won the game.

At this point, I think we can all agree Les has done a good job with the program as a whole from 2005 to 2011. I feel like he has just been here too long now. The excitement buzz has worn off. We are consistently losing in state recruits to Bama. Next year's outlook isn't much better. Obviously Les stays for next season, but I get the feeling next year will be his last. Probably for the best, we need some new blood and excitement bought into the program.

Then you'll just be complaining about the next coach I'm sure.

I have better things to do than waste my energy pointing out the ridiculous that is Les Miles.

The program needs fresh air. I feel like the excitement in the program is deflating.

Its sad to me that some of our fanbase would accept that. This program from 2001-2007 rolled.

Lol, no, I wish I couldn't see the forest between the trees. I've been anti-Les for awhile.

Not tonight but he has failed miserably to recruit/develop a quarterback since he has been here. Next season will be the same.

Recruiting just isn't up to par of late.

1 bad class due to a down year in state and new position coaches trying to establish connections out of state. We had a great class last year and are already seeing a number of freshman producing. Tre White and Rashard Robinson had 2 passes completed on them all night last night. Lacatoure actually did better than Freak or Ego for most of the night. Beckwith came in for a few plays last night. This years class is going to be insane. In the immortal words of Trinidad James, Don't believe me, just watch. N Word N Word N Word N Word N Word N Word

Recruiting and keeping kids.

Developing talent.

Creative game planning.

Creative play calling.

I pretty much say all those areas were lacking and it showed up in the result.

DO NOT KNOW IF HE LOST THE TEAM, BUT THE PLAY CALLING CHANGED TO PREDICTABLE.. REMEMBER AT THE END OF THE 3RD
1ST DOWN-WE RAN, 2ND DOWN WE RAN, 3RD DOWN AND 7YRDS, THEN WE TRIED TO PASS.

..WE STARTING TO NOT ATTACK THEIR WEAKNESSES...YOU DO THINGS UNTIL THEY STOP YOU..
WE STOPPED OURSELVES IN PART.

OOPS- CAPS SORRY

If kids know they are going to get paid, can you blame them? That's why most of these kids play football. To get them and their family in a better situation. So the quicker they can make that money the quicker they'll jump at the opportunity. It's not on the coaches. If you want to keep players, make the NCAA allow schools to pay kids a stipend.

Absolutely.

Get rid of Miles now and you looking at LSU in the 1990's and Alabama rolling us ala Spurrier and florida... Game over 5min into the 1st quarter.

Run Miles out of town with the success he's had nobody will come to LSU that is proven... who wants to live and work with that kind of pressure??
