Exactly why we kept Miles around for forever. We're ok with mediocrity.

As many top 5 finishes as saban, mac ,and dietzel combined.
During his tenure no program beat more ranked teams.
During his tenure no program was rankes in fhe top 25 more weeks.
During his tenure no program had a better home record.
During his tenure no program had a better ooc record.

Most top 5,top 10,top 15,top 20,top25 finishes in lsu history.

In the last 40 years the only lsu coach to win the sec with 100% his players.

But yeah miles at lsu is synonymous with mediocrity.

We are just glad you are making posts demonstrating that O has outperformed Miles.

That had to be hard for you.

I dont defend the man. I post facts about his tenure at lsu. People like you that had a weird dislike for him take that as defending him.

Red be honest.... if miles were the coach for 2017and 2018 and had the same results with the same shite offense, youd be destroying him.

He is barely doing better than what got an actual accomplished lsu coach fired.

Miles was fired for the shite you tout.

The pinnacle of ed orgeron's coaching career is a 3 loss season where he went 1-3 against p5 teams that were good enough to not lose 5 games.

Before that the pinnacle of his head coaching career was losing 4 games with the 2nd most nfl draft picks in cfb.

Yeah that's really different than miles.

Miles was fired for winning 9 games with NC talent/experience. Orgeron won 10 games with the weakest LSU offensive roster in 15 years.

“O has outperformed Miles.”

Pahahahahaha

Miles- 1 National championship, 2 championship game appearances, 2 SEC championships, 3 western division titles

0- 1 second and 1 third place SEC Western division finishes

This is what we mean when we say ranter logic

No one that gets paid to evaluate talent thinks LSU is anything but one of the most talented rosters in cfb.

Did you miss O publicly saying 2017 was a playoff team? It seems the only people that think lsu wasnt talented is people defending O.

I think part of the reason Miles lost favor was trotting out AJ, then Harris for two plus seasons. everyone lost confidence. The Wisconsin game in 16 was the clincher

10 games with McNeese, agreed. Still the expectations were waaaayyyyy higher than in 2018.

Not really in 2015.

2016 was really the year we were pegged for a title run.
But yes miles was underachieving there at the end. The difference is those same type of results are now being touted.

2017 was the most underachieving team in recent memory - but the underachieving was on the offensive side of the ball and that OC was shitcanned.

That offense was better than 2018.
And even O admits to meddling.

I actually think you and i agree on more than we disagree.

The 2017 offense had the third highest passer rating in LSU history. The most 40+ yard pass plays in LSU history and 2 running backs that went over 1,000 yards from scrimmage.

They should’ve been. They had exponentially more talent and experience but scored less.

Subjective number of games so you can still tout o losing 4 and 3 games.

Youre combining 2 seasons.

You want a coach fired if he loses the last 3 games of a 10-3 season and the 1st 3 games of a 10-3 season?

Stop subjectively picking 9 games.
