We're ranked below a team we beat in their house while the best thing on their resume is "Lost to #1 (at the time) Georgia". Hell, they nearly made UF bowl eligible.

Could be because they are 10-2 and we are 9-3. They have a better record than us. If we had the same record, we would be ranked above them.

LSU went to Mizzu and beat them by 10 despite the cheating refs taking away 2 TDs.
Mizzu's best win was vs Kansas St.
Mizzu has played one team with double digit wins.
How about we just admit that the committee is full of shite alright?

Because like everyone who is bitching about FSU not getting a bid to the CFP you don’t understand that the rankings are less about an entire season and one’s record and more about current caliber of play. Critical thinking is key. Why have rankings if one’s W/L record is the measure by which teams are judged?
Mizzou jumped LSU the Sunday after LSU lost to then #8 BAMA by 14 and they lost to #2 Georgia by 9. More than likely the committee looked at the fact that by the numbers Mizzou played significantly better than LSU that week. Plus by then it was painfully obvious that the only way LSU could win a game going forward was for our offense to run up huge numbers because we have next to no defense.
The following weekend Mizzou beat 13th ranked Tennessee. LSU beat unranked Florida. See the pattern? Mizzou stayed ahead of LSU in the polls because LSU didn’t have a better week than Mizzou after Mizzou jumped LSU.

It LSU had Bama's record and just beat the number 1 team in the country who hadn't lost a game in 2 years, the same people complaining would be demanding a spot in the playoffs. Which team in the playoffs could go through an SEC teams schedule and come out undefeated. The SEC is the standard. By ya'lls reasoning. The weak conferences should always get in before a one loss SEC champion. Very flawed logic!
