it’s not politics, BK heavily overvalues experience

it’s like when beckwith couldn’t get on the field except it’s the whole team

The young freshman S show potential but they also blow assignments

Gilbert IS a blown assignment. It doesn't matter if he is in position. He very seldom breaks up a pass or makes a tackle. You can't fix that.

Play the freshmen. It will accelerate their learning.

Finally someone with common sense concerning our safety’s I would start Pewee Herman in place of all three they are useless .

I guess if you ignore guys like:
- Taylor
- Campbell
- Jones
- Perkins
- Weeks
- Yaites
- Stamps
- McKinley
- Green
- Durham
- Breaux
- Reliford
- Spears
- Woodland

… who have all had significant playing time, many of them starting, as true freshmen.

The most likely answer is also the simplest - that there’s not a better option right now.

I think stamps eventually turns the corner, he’s just getting beat with poor leverage and not making plays on the ball but looks coach able. Some of he’s big plays he’s appeared to give up he’s had really bad safety play over the top that just hasn’t been there.

Stamps has been in position, but hasn’t made the plays on the ball,, that’s the biggest spot that he’ll have to improve on to become a SEC caliber cornerback. Right now, he’s not there.
