I would like to see Gage in the wild cat. He could roll out and run or pass. With a little blocking you could gain a few yards every time.

Having a competent QB that doesn't bail on the play immediately.

That new-fangled "forward pass" the kids are always talking about?

Bubble screens. I would love to see Charl get the ball out wide with Drake and Sullivan blocking.

bubble screen. I think we got the WRs to both block it and to catch and get some of those shifty YAC.

I-formation with Guice following Tory Carter.

Guice and Williams averaged 2.9 per carry against Florida and wide receivers had more rushing yards. Something needs to change in regards to this issue.

Screen passes against an aggressive defense like we’ll see from auburn could be big gainers

fake the sweep, read/pass option. I think it would help Etling.

Totally agree. Wish we would mix in more quick passes underneath to the TE and RB. I also wish we would attack the middle of the field more with some slants. Our opponents are loading the box because they don't fear the deep ball so I wish we would take a few more shots down field on 1st down just to back those DBs up a tad.

Man it's really hard to answer this question. I can state the obvious (more halfback and WR screens, short/quick read passing, Davis/Sullivan involvement) but it all comes down to whether Etling can settle down, don't panic, keep his eyes down field and make the damn throw accurately/On time.

Use the TE more up the middle, in college the TE is open every play.

I'm thinking the middle of the field should open up. The secondary should be sucking in with such a run heavy attack, yet they should still be fairly spread out to cover assignments. We need to use the middle of the field, be it quick slants just beyond the LBs or deep slants over the top of the safety. Canada better draw up his best game plan this week.
