That's hilarious. I live in Fort Worth and my General Manager is an OSU alumni and played football there; unlike your boss he's a realist who would welcome the chance to play us, but knows they have NO defense and like so many other games this year, they could probably stay with us for a half and then LSU would dominate. Amazing how dumb some people are, and realistic others can be. Feel free to share that with your boss. And you can also tell him that there are many OSU alum's that live here and less than 10% of them would agree with his comical point of view.

They are going to beat OU. Ryan Broyles is done for the season. In the two games I watched OU play, Landry Jones would get pressured, and chuck it to him without even looking, double coverage, quintuple coverage, he was like a honey badger, he just didn't care. But he's gone, his knee is dead. It's not like us losing a RR, imagine if Alabama's offense lost TR for the season. More like that.

I hope we play OK State. We average 36 points per game against the #1 SOSchedule in the nation. We also average 10.88 points given up per game. OKie St's D gives up a staggering, pathetic 28.5 ppg, while their offense averages a reasonable 50.1 ppg. I'm not going to say they've had a cakewalk, they've played the 8th, 22nd, and 14th ranked teams. But Lsu has played the 2nd, 3rd, 16th, 17th, 20th, and 25th ranked teams, which punt kicks their schedule in the ball sack.

The top defenses Lsu has faced have statistically been the 1st, 16th, 20th, 26th, 28th. For OKSt, their toughest defenses have been 31st, 58th, 61st, and 66th. They also got to play the 114th and 119th ranked teams, which no doubt were stat inflaters for their awesome offense.

Their offense looks to have outscored the teams they've played's avg points against by 10-14 points per opponent. So even if the schdules were comparable, which they aren't, I'd bet my money Lsu 38 - OkSt 21. I don't think it'd be close honestly. OkSt and Lsu are 1 and 2 respectively in turnover margin, but the majority of OkSt's turnovers come from interceptions, which Lsu is not going to commit, and moreso if we did, we'd just pound that arse on the ground like the Bama game. The total stats for reference as well are OkSt - #2 offense, 75th overall defense vs the 7th toughest schedule. Lsu - 20th Offense, #2 defense, vs the toughest schedule, but the rating differential between the schedules is staggering. Even the power rankings are drastically skewed in favor of Lsu, 80.7 - 69.5. If played in New Orleans, this game would look a lot like when Lsu played Notre Dame in the Dome. A lot like it.

If we do, in fact, play Okie State, and after the butt whoopin', you should frame his comments and give it to him as an early Mardi Gras present. Then you can begin looking for another dream job, ha! I've not seen ANY defense in the Big 12.

It's a slant on Brian Wilson's "Fact". Of course it was hyperbole, or did I actually see Kansas State players wearing "flags" around their waists?
