It's just how this board is. You are either or. Just like politics. No one is allowed just to say I think our o-line looks like shite (even though everyone can see they do) without everyone telling that poster thay should turn in their tickets and they aren't real fans. Conversely, people who point out that winning is still winning apparantly have their heads in the sand and don't realize how shitty of a team we are.
And frankly, for LSU fans, a losing season in the SEC is no longer acceptable. Which means anything less than 9 wins is a disappointing year.

It's really simple.... Most of these people don't and never liked miles. If the team shows anything but dominance, they act out.
They all wish we still have saban. It's as simple as this.

See what I did here?
Dis gon b gud.
This is what I think of you, you do something negative (like fight a war) to gain peace. In the end it's all sunshine pumping.

i don't share those concerns about miles but admittedly do about stud as OC. i'm sympathetic with krags disease but am skeptical about elevating stud because of it.
While agreeing with 95% of what you have posted, I have to ask what was Miles supposed to do? Krags illness is discovered just before the start of the season. What quality OC was he going to find a few weeks before the season starts? We have a former OC on staff so we promote him and then we go 13-1 with Stud. Do you replace the guy after that record?
I am not overjoyed with the offensive results this year. I expected more but maybe my expectations were overblown. My jury is still out on Stud because I have concerns also, however, I think we should see how this season plays out before jumping off the bridge.

To OP question: I don't know, but your answer might hover around lingering frustration over chronic underachievement in terms of offensive play calling and use of personnel by certain coaches, and skill players being inconsistent in execution.

A given fan is too emotionally attached to the outcome and has exceedingly high expectations. The criticism is doing whatever proactive thing they think they can do even though they likely know it's completly pointless.

I love these type responses. The coaches don't use players like the fans think they should.
First it was Hester. Everyone knew we had better backs than Hester. Turned out Hester was pretty damn good.
Shepard needs to get the ball...... Turns out he just hasn't panned out the way we hoped
Keiland Williams needs more touches.... Turned out Scott was better.
Miles and company gets it right more times than not. He was 13-1 doing it his way last year. He should get the benefit every now and then.
But he's not saban!!!!! Therefore he doesn't know shite.

Do you ever think that we could've been beat by a better team on a given day?

My personal views:
Generally speaking, in every facet of life it is easier to be critical of someone/something than positive. Negatives stick out and make attention. Murders get the headlines on the news, someone weaving in and out of traffic is observed, etc......
Being positive takes effort and thought but makes us better people in my mind.
Also, when you compliment someone on the good before you shed light on the bad you will often get better results. Why? People don't want to be overwhelmed with bad, it puts them on the defensive. Disarm them with good and then come in with the room for improvement areas. Works like a charm.
Of course the bible is loaded with these principles: It is better to give than receive, Do unto others as you would have done to you, Love your neighbor as you love yourself....
Again, my personal views.

You can watch a NFL games and see all kinds of mistakes and clock management issues but very little is said but if CLM does something like this it's front page news and everyone wants him fired. The NFL are professionals and they have lots of frick ups. They also practice 3 to 4 times as much as college kids.
I just think expectations are way to high thinking that the team has to play perfect every time they step on the field. Fans act like the team can't improve from week to week or that maybe they are working on different things in each games. Somethings work and some don't.

I'd say there are a lot of people with the above-mentioned "Saban envy"; it's like not being able to get over an ex who dumped them.
In their mind, everything about Saban suddenly becomes better than it really was. Miles has an impossible standard to live up to; any success by Miles is a threat because (to them) it keeps Saban from returning to LSU. Nothing Miles can do is appreciated. His NC and multiple top-5 finishes apparently don't match up with Saban's NC and finishes in the top 15, not in their minds.
Look, guys, Saban left us like a cheating whore. Dumped us in the midst of bowl preparations at the chance to find greener pastures. Has absolutely no real desire to return, unless he's sleazy enough to consider us his fallback suckers.
Miles has had 2 obvious opportunities to dump LSU, and has responded in a far more appropriate manner. Might have been approached several more times, for all we know- Oklahoma might consider his ability to "sustain a program" and bring in new energy, along with past history in that state and conference, for example. But he's been up-front and clear about his loyalty to LSU.

I pretty much stay away from the rant for 2 to 3 Days after a game. It really serves no purpose to try to reason with the negatives and Miles haters anymore. If his record(s) are not enough to please them then I don't think they can be pleased so why try. One thing I know is that Les doesn't give a rats arse about their cynicism. These are 18 to 22 yr olds under tremendous pressure with national attention directed at every move, good or bad. We just have no perspective of the whole picture with respects to the history of LSU football and what Les has and is accomplishing.
