What LSU baseball player deserves the first statue outside the Box?

Men's and Women's basketball have statutes with no ncaa tourney titles
Cannon has statue with Burrow eventually getting one
It's time that a baseball player get a statue.
McDonald was #1 overall player but did not win a natty
Morris has the most famous HR in CWS history
Walker has a natty
Furniss has two natties
I would like to see a Morris statue that commemorates the player and the sigificance of his HR to win the CWS

If only talking players and impact at the collegiate level, you have two options level: Chad Morris, Wally Pontif Jr.

A statue of Morris getting carried with his fists raised would be pretty awesome. Would be huge though.

Morris with the famous Hawthorne quote on the plaque "way back there, way back there ... HOME RUN!! Tigers Win!! Tigers Win!! I dont believe it!!"
I still get chills listening to that call

the football coach?

Morris doesn't deserve a statue for one monumental HR.
I'd say Ben McDonald for a player and obviously Skip Bertman for a coach.

For player accolades, McDonald.
For team and history etc...Morris

So tough to choose. I think Warren Morris rounding the bases with hand in the air would actually be best. But Walker and Furniss are hard to argue as well. McDonald too,

Not until Kramer Robertson gets his statue first.

Arguably the greatest single play in LSU athletics history.
