Take a ferry up the Hudson River from NYC to West Point in the fall for an Army game. The ride is amazing and WP is a beautiful campus. The views from the stadium are spectacular as well.

Went Notre dame in 1998...campus was small but nice..there is no tailgating on campus to speak of... you can be on campus 2 hours before the game and 2 hours after the game and that's it...the area around campus was nice but downtown was very depressing nothing but a bunch of boarded up buildings...it looked like either scenic hwy or plank road in North baton rouge...the only thing missing was the Exxon plant
